With over 40 decorated Christmas trees by residents, local business and organisations bringing together the communities of Rottingdean, Ovingdean, Saltdean, Peacehaven, and Woodingdean.
This festival is being organised by parshioner Duncan Ward who said “Some trees will be traditional, others more modern – some glitzy, some will make you smile, some colourful, and unusual. It will be a tree-mendous event, to make this an entertaining family visit in the run up to Christmas.”

The HANOVER BAND is world renowned for its glittering performances of masterpieces from the Baroque and classical repertoire.
For this series of concerts in Rottingdean, experienced members of the orchestra will be joined by some of Britain’s most talented young musicians to perform two further programmes exploring, in turn, the immense impact of Handel and his contemporaries and the great blossoming of the classical genre led by the incomparable W A Mozart.
In the August concert, three young performers of glowing talent and growing stature will present a recital from the romantic period of Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn and Chopin featuring music for soprano, piano and flute.
