RPS logo Congratulations to the Rottingdean Preservation Society who have just launched their new website. The new website provides a more interactive site with regular news updates and features relating to events at the Grange Gallery and Museum, as well as updates on the Windmill and Kipling Gardens. Much of the original material remains, but each section will be revised over the next few months.

Along side their new website you can also stay up to date with the latest information via their new Twitter Account and Facebook Page. Head on over and follow and like them.

    Dear

My name is Philip Baglini (Olland) I live in London but I was born in Italy (1974), in a fisherman’s family, I am a doctorate in nuclear physics but I also love literature.
Since six years I’ve always wanted to live in the UK(probably always have been an Englishman inside of me or I was in another life) anyway, I do not feel very Italian, veery Soon’ll get British citizenship.
One day I left my job in Italy and came to London where I founded a company International communication and Service Ltd http://www.ics.com (where I am the director of a magazine http://www.italoeuropeo.com and a tourist agency http://www.vivilondra.com )
my passion is writing in fact I have written two books of poetry published in Italy
After six years in London I have chosen as the final steps of my life to live in of Rottingdean’s village, which I love since the first day I saw him.
2014 I’m trying to find/buy a home for to live permanently in Rottingdean and finish them my life. This letter it a way to introduce myself to the community of Rottingdean’s village, I would like to introduce me to your community.
I am a very calm men and quiet, I love nature, animals, the sea, write a novel and create culture among people.
I’m a poet and, I write books and I need a place like Rottingdean for write my novel and stay with the people in serenity.
I would like to get to know some Rottingdean’s village people, would like to know if I can be part of the writers club, my poems are in Italian but I’ll try to write in English, and so start my Rottingden’life steps by steps. Or help me to introduce myself at the to the vicar of the church or library I am grateful. I worked in a school in London, I know the history and the Anglican religion
I’m a believer and I often go to church
I hope to give a good contribute and to promote the village with writings, poems, photos must emphasize the importance and values of a village in a world without any value. I will try al my best to give a contribution to the village of Rottigdean
in short, I would start to learn from the Rottingdan’s community of where I hope to be a part as soon as possible
    thanks to all
    philip
