Rye Bay is a geological phenomenon – the moving stretches of shingle have created a shifting landscape of extraordinary biodiversity. Ron Martin will be sharing his expert knowledge at the Whiteway Centre on Friday, 19th October, at 7.30 p.m.
And for those of a more literary and artistic bent, Philip Sugg and Ruth Brown, lecturers in respectively art history and literature, will be examining that 18th century phenomenon of style known as “Gothik”, at a study day on Saturday, 3rd November.
