There will be another opportunity to revisit the Great War, but with a different slant, when the Whiteway Centre runs a study day on Saturday, 4th October, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Michael Hughes has had unique access to East Sussex records of the time, including the letters, diaries and photographs of local men and women, both at home and at the front, to which he will refer. And Trevor Magee will shed new light on the Poets, we hope with the support of members of Rottingdean Dramatic Society. The fee for the day is £25, which includes a light lunch; places should be reserved in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01273 304180.
