Early years music specialist Hartbeeps is launching funky and dynamic music classes from birth through to four years in Rottingdean this April
Hartbeeps, which was featured on the BBC series ‘Be Your Own Boss’, has been labelled ‘The Zumba’ of baby music classes, by Richard Reed – founder of Innocent Smoothies.
New to Rottingdean, mum Laura Carpenter, is bringing the 45 minute classes to The Whiteway Centre on Monday mornings as well as running alternative venues in Hove and The Laines. Participants can expect to disco with the ducks in the enchanted garden, rap their way through the garden greens; and enjoy a plethora of puppets, lighting effects, contemporary music, original baby pop songs, happy raps and sensory experiences.
Classes for babies from birth to sitting, with gentle sensory experiences and beautiful lullabies are on Mondays at 12:00, sessions for babies from sitting to standing are on Mondays at 11:00 and classes for children from standing to 4 years are at 10:00.
Sarah Godwin, Hartbeeps creator, says: “I constantly strive to bring innovation and creativity to our families and positively believe that babies innately possess a sharp sense of humour that continues to inspire me to write hugely wacky programmes, with many layers of developmental strands”.
Laura Carpenter says: “My son began life with Hartbeeps and we looked forward to our weekly Hartbeeps fix. As a Primary School Teacher, the thought of working with children and parents in such a creative way appealed to me. What better place to launch such a fun and exciting business as Brighton?”
