This is the multi-sports play area designed in memory of Connor Saunders.
The blueprint for Connor’s Court, which is set to be built in Rottingdean in memory of the 19-year-old, will now be considered by planning officers before a decision is made in June.
The £70,000 facility is planned for the site of the old swimming pool on the Undercliff Walk between the village and the sea.
The Play Area in Rottingdean Committee (PARC) is behind the project which has gathered momentum following the death of Connor after he was fatally punched during an argument in April 2012.
Plans reveal that the proposed court will be blue to match the colours of Chelsea, his favourite football team.
The fenced-off area will provide facilities for football, cricket and basketball with posts, hoops and wickets.
The surface is set be made of polymeric which is often used for tennis courts and athletics tracks.
