This has been cross posted from the Rottingdean Arts blog:
Rottingdean Arts launched the 2012 season with its inaugural concert at the White Horse Hotel, Rottingdean, given by an excellent Australian Choir from Queensland, the Blackstone-Ipswich Cambrian Choir.
This was the last concert of their extensive European Winter Tour to Finland, Sweden, Estonia and the UK. They performed a very varied programme of music, ranging from madrigals to show songs and gospel, all introduced and presented by their internationally renowned conductor and composer, Sandra Milliken.
The capacity audience of Sponsors, Patrons and Friends of Rottingdean Arts, plus friends and family of choir members were delighted with the high standard and great musicality of this fine visiting choir.
