Big Lunch picnic on the “mini-meadow”

March 21, 2013 by Rottingdean Leave a Comment

Big Lunch picnic 12pm Sunday 2nd June ’13 on the “mini-meadow” on Meadow Parade, Rottingdean.

We have a little bit of green in front of our cottages and we love to play on it. We make snowmen/dogs/chairs/catterpillars on it when it’s white. We play chasing games on it when it’s green. We get excited when we see the yellow daffodils poke up from the tree roots. It’s our “mini-meadow” and we want to share it with you (weather permitting)!

Each year we hold a neighbourhood BIG LUNCH picnic on the “mini-meadow” and we’d like to invite you to join us. Just bring a dish for the table, a rug to sit on and a smile for your neighbours. It’s our little bit of nature and we want it to stay green, so please show your support by coming along and joining in the fun.
