It’s that time again when we hold an annual clean-up day on Beacon Hill. To those who regularly turn out, don’t forget that the old Pitch and Put is now treated as being part of the nature reserve. While we thank our faithful band of volunteers from both Rottingdean and Ovingdean who turn out each year to get rid of the unsightly rubbish, we can always do with more willing hands.
We choose this date as it is easier to see rubbish at this time as well as being before the skylarks start nesting and our rare downland flowers start to grow.
SATURDAY 18th FEBRUARY 2017 AT 10 AM
North: LONGHILL Road
South: By the ALLOTMENTS
Please put this date in your diary and
COME AND HELP TIDY UP OUR NATURE RESERVE.
We provide bags as well as a few pickers but it is best to bring gloves
