Telscobme consists of three separate settlements, separated by an open area of downland called Telscombe Tye. Telscombe village is a small village on the South Downs with a population of less than 50 and includes St Laurence’s, the parish church which dates back to the 10th century. Telscombe was developed in the 20th century effectively as an extension of Peacehaven and is home to approximately 4500 people.
