Since its concept in the 1970′s Brighton Marina is now one of Europe‚Äôs largest and has become a destination in it’s own right. Situated two miles along the coast west of Rottingdean and one mile east of Brighon, the Marina is easily accessible by road, by bike, on foot or from Brighton Pier via The Volks Electric Railway.

It offers something for everyone, so much more than simply somewhere to park your boat. There are a variety of shops, places to eat and drink, sailing, boat trips, diving, fishing, a multiplex cinema, bowling alley, fitness suite, casino and a boutique hotel plus the added benefit of free parking for visitors. Brighton Marina welcomes boats of all sizes, from 5m to 25m for short and long stay visitor berthing as well as annual berthing and boatyard services.

The under cliff walk / cycle route begins at the marina and is an ideal way to get to Rottingdean on foot or by bike away from the traffic, with access to the clifftop via a ramp at Roedean, steps at Ovingdean with steps and a ramp at both Rottingdean and Saltdean.
